White sheets and open eyes,
A blur of madness,
My consciousness incised
Wake me up!
Another place I'm brought into
And I can't seem to find a grip.
Surrealist lullaby
I'm lost, I'm dead, I've hurt, I've bled, but
I can't stand your eyes on me.
Black doors and bleeding walls
I have to savor
What life and heaven I have on the other side
But still I can't seem to fight the feeling of this place,
A deeper truth?
A hint of conscious thought?
Take me back, I can't stand this and
I can't stand your hands on me.
Wake me up!
Tell me now,
Was it better to have loved and lost,
Or simply to float away,
A product of experience,
With so many lessons unlearned?
But the challenge is set
As a younger man dies
In his house now lives a stranger.
But somewhere, somehow I know
If I could go back, that would make you stay.
A hint of conscious thought,
Take me back I can't stand this and
I can't stand your eyes on me.
I can't stand your hands on me.

Every time I think I’ve uncovered all the hidden gems I find another one, this is fine music. This band has two other more recent releases not available on Bandcamp, also amazing. Kind of a mix of genres with the post rock backbone I enjoy so much, very talented! Deej
