When I see rain on the glass Headlights come and blind my sight. It's warm inside, But there's no time like the present You said you'd hold true and never let go You said you'd hold true I heard you say so! Facing up to reality Time slows as the moment closes We all have our crosses to bear But nothing beats a gun to the head for motivation. You said you'd hold true and never let go You said you'd hold true I heard you say so! ...and I'm shaking, breaking inside Is this what it's like to be alive? Fear and animosity Pleasure and pain I brought this for you. Reflect and refract Calm and exact. Do you see something that I don't? The sick and the cured. Stoic and assured. We all make mistakes. So bright, so beautiful Shimmer and radiance. I see you standing there Something's not right. Falter and suffocate You seem surprised. There's no more you and I. You said you'd hold true and never let go You said you'd hold true I heard you say so! Is this what it's like to be alive?

Here and Now 04:58
A spinning turnstile; Forever open, forever closed. Invalid user entry Press any key, now overdose. I see it now; robotic The person that I used to be. Now, my life, my heart, forever free. And I'm not going back... But for now, it's here and now It's undercover, but what if they knew? Tonight, tonight, it's now or never. Somehow, it's here and now It's open wide, the future seems so new. Tonight, tonight, it's now or never. A spinning turnstile; I watched it eat a hole in me. Abandoned hopes, forgotten dreams. Sometimes you have to die before you live ...and I'm not going back. But for now, it's here and now It's undercover, but what if they knew? Tonight, tonight, it's now or never. Somehow, it's here and now It's open wide, the future seems so new. Tonight, tonight, it's now or never. I want to see my future Surrounded by others, Someone to watch over me. Faceless they came and made me realise That nothing in life is free, You have to take it for yourself. Kidnapped from my interior absent thought by knife and plier Death and it's decomposition brought me to my feet And now I can hear them coming. But for now, it's here and now It's undercover, but what if they knew? Tonight, tonight, it's now or never. Somehow, it's here and now It's open wide, the future seems so new. Tonight, tonight, it's now or never.

White sheets and open eyes, A blur of madness, My consciousness incised Wake me up! Another place I'm brought into And I can't seem to find a grip. Surrealist lullaby I'm lost, I'm dead, I've hurt, I've bled, but I can't stand your eyes on me. Black doors and bleeding walls I have to savor What life and heaven I have on the other side But still I can't seem to fight the feeling of this place, A deeper truth? A hint of conscious thought? Take me back, I can't stand this and I can't stand your hands on me. Wake me up! Tell me now, Was it better to have loved and lost, Or simply to float away, A product of experience, With so many lessons unlearned? But the challenge is set As a younger man dies In his house now lives a stranger. But somewhere, somehow I know If I could go back, that would make you stay. A hint of conscious thought, Take me back I can't stand this and I can't stand your eyes on me. I can't stand your hands on me.

Parallel 03:35
I wake up and feel fire A broken line in front of me. This aint what I desired Nor what I envisioned to see. In universe we are distant Yet the one and the same. Blood-red in a damned garage Traverse through time and space. My body a fractured collage Awaken to another pace. In universe we are distant Yet the one and the same. En-route to a crimson cross I'm blacking between two worlds. Snow-white is the world around, The alleyway my resting place. I get up and look around The world is broken but you're dead to see. What happens when we leave this place? In parallel, we only see what we know. We lie together, two times alone. What happens to the place I left?

I stand here in the foyer And look out to the courtyard. I wonder what will happen When my body burns to ashes. You hold on to my arm As we feel the heat rise. There's no one here but you and me. I've never seen the sun rise. "Let's go outside" she says "Don't let me go" she says We all have to die some time. See the sunrise. Sit down and relax We never thought it would be easy. I never thought i'd find someone like you. I never dreamed of being one of two. I never wished for something more But you found me. Forsaken, you and I. Alone here, left to die. You hold on to my arm As we feel the heat rise And we reach up to the sky. Reach up to the sky. We sit here on the park bench As we look out through the maelstrom. We hold each others hand As our bodies burn to ashes.
